The flavors of Turkey are unique and exotic. The Turkish delight or Lokum is one of the delicacy, which is not just popular in Turkey, but has found favor from all over the world.
Turkish Delight is a flavored sweetmeat made from starch and sugar, filed with dry fruits, honey or nuts. The Turkish delight come in cubes with powdered delight may contain many exotic fillings, but simple rosewater is still the most preferred flowor. It is the rosewater which gives its trademark blushing pink color. It can be had an accompaniment to tea or coffee or can be enjoyed all by itself.
